Sytstem Omega is perhaps the world's finest multi-room audio video system in the world (next to the System 8000). Based on a building block architecture, System Omega utlitzes separates for each zone with a single Alpha-8R Line Driver to distribute the up to eight components to the zones CR-8A Integrated Zone Amplifiers or CR-8P Zone Preamplifiers. These zone preamps and integrated amps, then permit each zone to individually select a component, adjust volume, bass, and treble. Each zone controller includes a processor loop, swithced AC outlet, varaiable audio output. The CR-8A Zone Integrated Amplifiers also include a builtin fan-cooled power amplifier stable down to 2 Ohms and are capable of pwoering up to four pair of eight ohm speakers.

System Omega also offers several options including the VSU-8 Video-Follow-Audio Switcher, PCT-8 Component Controller, CIC-3000 ADA Bus & Computer Controller, as well as MT-3000 Multi-Tuner. Also, System Omega offers true audiophile zone preamps and integrated amps. These units, called Omega Plus (CR-8P+ and CR-8A+) utilize high-quality motorized ptentiometers for control of a room's volume, bass, and treble levels.
