The MC-16.5 Millennium Control

The Millennium System is available with a wide array of keypad styles and finishes. An excellent choice for interiors where less is more, is the MC-16.5 Keypad. Available in either a wall-mounted or table-top style, this page focuses on the MC-16.5 Wall Keypad. Unlike the MC-1676, the MC-16.5 is delivered complete with an all-metal wall plate. Standard finishes include white or black anodized plates. Optional standard custom finishes include brass, chrome, or black chrome. This keypad is also available in gold, clear alluminum (similar to stainless steal), antique brass, bronze, and brushed chrome (similar to nickle).

This keypad is a favorite of interior designers because of its slim profile and flexible finish. Often, the MC-16.5 is painted to match the colors of the wall it is mounted to. Regardless of which finish you select, the MC-16.5 provides all of the full featured functions of the other Millennium keypads. You don't have to sacrifice function for the sake of esthetics.

To turn the system on, just press the button for the component you wish to listen to. For example, pressing the CD 1 button once, turns on the Millennium, the amplifier and speakers for the room you are in, and provides power to the CD player. If your CD player is equiped with a "timer-play" function it will engage automatically. Otherwise, simply press the Play button (>). Within moments, you are listening to music. All other rooms will remain off, unaffected by your selection. As you proceed to other rooms, you will notice their keypad's ROOM OFF button lit. This indicates that this other room is off while also detailing that the system is on elsewhere. Persons in other rooms can select their own component or also CD 1.

If you don't like the albumn, tap the CD 1 button once. The CD changer will advance to the next disc. If you would rather simply skip tracks, press and hold the >> or << buttons.

To turn off the room you are in, press the Room Off button. Only the room you are in will turn off. When the day is done, press and hold any keypad's Room Off button and the entire system will reset to off.
