The MC-16.5 Table-Top
Millennium Control
The Millennium System not only offers wall mounted keypads in varying
styles and finishes, fully weather resistant outdoor controls, and wireless
controls, but also two table-top controls. The MC-16.5T Table-Top Keypad
is ADA's most popular Millennium table-top keypad. Again, like all other
Millennium controls, the MC-16.5T is fully functional and comes standard
in brass, chrome, white or black. Custom finishes are also available in
gold plate, antique brass, or nearly any finish you can imagine.
The MC-16.5T is small and ideal for an office desk or night table where
space is limited. Unlike the MC-009, which is completely wireless, the MC-16.5T
is "hard-wired", which means it requires that a wire be connected
to it. While the MC-16.5T does require a wire, it also provides system status
feedback on its display indicating the component selected, in the room,
if the room is off and system were left on elsewhere, or if the system is
completely off. The MC-009, does not offer any feedback. ADA has gone through
great effort to make certain that this wire is both strong, functional,
and attractive. The wire is black, six feet in length, very slim, and flexible.
If you don't mind a telephone cable connected to your phone, you won't even
notice the MC-16.5T's wire. Best of all, the MC-16.5T wire has a modular
jack on its other end which plugs into a custom wall jack, the WPA-10 Wall
Plate Adaptor.
The WPA-10 fits a single-gang wall box (electrical style
box) and is fitted with a clear anodized wall plate suitable for painting
or wall paper. This permits you to conviently disconnect the MC-16.5T when
cleaning, moving furniture around for a party, or any other occasion where
you might want to temporarily remove the keypad from the room. In some cases,
where the home is being prewired prior to final furniture placement, several
WPA-10s may be installed into a particular room, providing you with the
flexibility to locate the MC-16.5T Table-Top keypad wherever you wish. If
you want the ease of fingertip operation from your electronics, the MC-16.5T
is the perfect choice.
